Gadget of The Month
Smoker boxes allow gas grill gurus to impart that wood smokey flavor in their food without the mess. They are available in Stainless Steel and Cast Iron. Either way, a smoker box can add the extra umph your cooking needs.

Home and Garden Show Starts Saturday!!!

 It's that time of year once again. The Home and Garden Show starts this weekend and most companies are scrambling to get their booths together. We, of course, are no exception. The show starts this Saturday, February 26th and runs through the week to Sunday, March 6th.
This year we are located in the Home Idea (western) Building, rather than the Garden Building which we were in last year. If you get a map we are in booths 805 and 807 near the center stage.
Just like last year, we will have our grill lottery. Three lucky people took home grills just for entering in 2010 and we will be doing it again for this show! Come down and win a grill!

| 10 for 10 Once Again |
 This time last year we came up with the 10 for 10 concept, 10 cans of non-perishable food goods for the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center for 10% off product purchase, and it was a resounding hit. 2011 we are hoping is no different. You helped us supply over 500 lbs. by the half year!
So, we have decided to do it again! This time for good. Now, year round we will honor the 10 for 10 deal on all products (excluding closeouts) no matter what it is. Grills, fireplaces, gas lights, all qualify for the 10 for 10 deal and with no expiration.
We also cannot stress enough how important the work from the good people at the CBCRC is to this community. They are always in need of donations and volunteers. Please visit their web page for ways you can be of assistance.

I am but mere mortal. Bound by emotion and flaws. Ok, kill the theatrics. I asked you to sound off on the newsletter and, since the move of the monthly recipes from newsletter to Facebook, I heard you loud and clear. So... they are back! This month we will start the year with a personal favorite,
GRILLED PEPPERS
3 green bell peppers, cut into large chunks
1/2 cup sliced jalapeno peppers
1 pinch dried oregano
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
...Directions
1. Preheat a grill for medium-high heat. When the grill is hot, lightly oil the grate.
2. Place the pepper pieces onto the grill with the inside facing down. Cook until slightly charred, 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Turn peppers over, and place jalapeno slices onto them. Top with some mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle with a bit of oregano. Grill until cheese melts, then remove to a plate and serve.Hope this makes up for time lost. For those of you on Facebook, this recipe is on our page as well.
