FlameSaver tanks are a great way to prevent that mid-party disappointment. This is not your average propane tank, if you run out of gas during a cookout switch to reserve mode for an extra hour of cooking. FlameSaver allows you to lose that "spare" tank and always have a backup.

100_1560Congratulations to Kendra Siler of Delaware on winning this year's Home and Garden Show grill giveaway! She won a model JNR gas grill from Modern Home Products.

Not Kendra? Then come visit our showroom at 4500 Indianola Ave. We've got the place packed to rafters with new grills and deals. Firemagic, MHP, Big Green Egg, Profire, Broilmaster and all types of accessories are here to make 2011 the year of the grill.

And an additional thank you goes out to all those in attendance at the 2011 Home and Garden Show that came down to see our booth.

As always, we hope we were able to answer all your questions regarding fireplaces, grills and gas lights. But in the event you had a question that wasn't answered, never hesitate to give us a call at 614-261-0824 or email us at specialtygashouse@sbcglobal.net.

We are also your source for fuel. Our onsite propane fill facility makes sure you get what you deserve, a full tank (unlike those exchange places). And charcoal grillers rejoice, we carry 100% natural hardwood lump charcoal in both hickory (BGE) and mesquite (Ono).
   Clearances and Closeouts
Fireplace season is almost over and the time for outdoor grilling is at hand. That doesn't limit us on deals for both! Check out some of our clearance, closeout, and display item deals looking for a good home.

Let's do some shopping, shall we?

100_1503 2    This corner Monessen Vent Free fireplace is a beautiful display from our showroom that is only a year old!

The firebox is a GCUF32 (32" firebox) with black mesh arch doors and a corner honey oak surround and hearth. The log system is an Empire 18" millivolt burner with a Charred Oak log set.

This package originally retailed for 3000.00 but this display closeout is 2250.00. That's like getting the log set for free!

We will also be willing to separate the log system if another is desired. Log system sold separately is 15% off.

100_1569    The DFX32 by Monessen has been one of our most popular Ventless system units. It has been the perfect dimensions for small to medium sized applications.

This unit is unused and out of the box with a small dent on the rear of the unit that is not visible from the front. Original retail was 1080.00. A smashing deal at 25% off, the clearance price is 810.00.

For a better idea of how this unit looks while operating, click on the link here for pictures and specifications from Monessen:http://www.monessenhearth.com/products.asp?model=DFX

100_1565 2    Firemagic grills. These puppies are sweeeet!

Model 11-S1S1N-A. These grills normally retail for just under 2000.00 and are, frankly, worth every penny. With a lifetime warranty on nearly the entire grill (everything stainless steel) this is one of the highest end grill brands we stock. And we have the deals!

We have got these grills priced at 1500.00, no joke. If you can find a better deal on this grill, take it!

So if you are planning that backyard patio project and want a grill that will practically outlast the stone, you have got to jump on this deal. We only have 4 left and they won't last the summer. Two other models have already found good homes and these will too no doubt.

If you need more info on this beautiful grill, check out the RH Peterson web site at:http://www.rhpeterson.com/firemagic/legacy-series/deluxe-gourmet/

100_1564

Now you didn't think we would forget those of you with mobile aspirations, did you?

The Firemagic model 21-S1S1N is the Deluxe series equivalent to the drop-in model seen above. This grill is ready for backyard battle and equipped with the armor to withstand mother nature's wrath.

This model would normally retail for 2795.00, we said 'Not Good Enough.' The price has been slashed to 2200.00, a pittance of its standard price.

Again, more specs and pictures check the website for Firemagic and RH Peterson. Here's the link:http://firemagicgasgrills.com/firemagic-deluxe.htm

Now, like all the others, we only have 4 grills to be sent to loving homes. Come see us to claim one of these beautiful beacons of barbecue bliss as your own.

100_1568     Modern Home Products has been our flagship grill for the better part of a decade. Quality and value that is unrivaled in the gas grill industry,

The grill pictured left is an all infrared model TRG2-NS. This display has served its duty for just over 3 years, and now it's time to move on.

Infrared is not for everyone, however, and is typically used in commercial kitchens and restaurants. The amount of heat produced by this grill is much higher than average (about 1600 degrees at the cook grid). As you can see, there are three infrared burners along with the famous SearMagic cook grids MHP is known for.

This grill originally sold for 1715.00. The clearance price on this pro-level cooker is 1286.00. And, if you ask nicely, we may just throw in a cover at no extra charge.

If you have been on the fence about jumping into the infrared realm of grilling, now is your chance to seize a great deal, and a great grill!

Dimplex has been making electric fireplaces and grills for decades. Their innovation in this niche industry has solidified their place at the pinnacle of design and function.

Electric grills solve the issues that can arise from strict homeowners association rules and the occasional crabby neighbor. Folks who live in high-rises run the risk of smoking out the tenants above them with smoke and fumes.

Electric grills are clean and consistent cookers with controls more akin to your electric oven than your gas grill. Time and temperature can both be set and the grill does the rest.

We have a few of these new in box and at a deal you will not find anywhere else. Normal retail for the unit pictured is 840.00, but we need the storage space so the discount is severe..... drum roll please.... 400.00! More than 50% off retail and, frankly, cheaper than we could buy it. Interested in electric? Don't miss this deal.

100_1566    Of course, you can't have a built-in grill without access to the storage and mechanicals below. It not only provides a space for your spatula, but can also prove handy when repairs or upgrades are necessary.

We only have the two doors, manufactured by FireMagic. and they are not going to last. This is, as is true for the rest of items in this article, while supplies last.

We are officially ready for grill season, are you?

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups grated sharp yellow cheddar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 filet mignons, 12 to 16 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 soft Italian rolls, split and grilled

Toppings

  • Grilled yellow and red onions, coarsely chopped
  • Grilled mushrooms, sliced
  • Grilled green peppers, sliced

Brush filets with oil on both sides and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side for rare, which is desired for this sandwich. Let rest for 5 minutes and then slice into 1/8-inch thick slices.
Slice 7/8 of the way through the rolls and fill each with several slices of the beef, cheese sauce, and any or all of the toppings. Return sandwiches to the grill, close top, and grill very briefly just to heat through.
